A dad was there in the nick of time to rescue his son from a fiery crash during a auto race in South Boston, Virginia, over Father's Day weekend.

The tense scenes unfolded at the NASCAR Late Model race in Virginia during Father's Day weekend.

"I didn't have time to be afraid". After saving his son, Jones can then be seen on the video reaching back into the auto to turn on the fire suppression system before being pulled away.

Crowds can be heard cheering as Jones is rescued by his father from the fiery crash.

A father's heroic actions were captured on camera when he jumped over a track barrier to pull his son out of a burning race vehicle following a crash.
