But it seems they want to package those selections for a bigger piece.

This latest news goes in line with what Michael Scotto of The Athletic reported on Friday.

"You could see a lot of pick movement".

Los Angeles now holds the 12th and 13th picks which could, in theory, be packaged to make a move up.

According to ESPN, a number of teams have been interested in trading up in the draft to pick Doncic and talks are believed to only increase in the coming week. The Clippers have looked to trade up. The workout is expected to take place close to draft night, sources say. But one thing this team has been missing for years is that franchise-altering player that every championship team has to have.

"Getting a pair of lottery picks and two more intriguing youngsters fits the mentality of this rebuilding organization, particularly because it wouldn't be giving up any of the youngsters in this scenario". It's tough to determine which player would be included in the deal, but the favorite would likely have to be Tobias Harris.

Projected to draft seventh overall, the Kings leapfrogged five other tanking hopefuls in order to move up to second behind only the Phoenix Suns.

Doncic has received high praise, with many people considering him as the best European prospect of all-time.
