Over the short few weeks that have passed, it was obvious that the budding romance was more than just a fling.

"I am but a Pete Davidson update acc stay tuned for more (pete follows/comments sumtimes)", Ariana wrote on her Instagram with a picture of the pair from the event.

News of the engagement broke earlier Monday, with a source telling Us Weekly that they told people they are engaged at Robert Pattinson's birthday party on Saturday. And now they're engaged.

On June 2, Grande was seen wearing a huge rock on her ring finger at the Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles, reports The Mirror. They both started talking about it this past weekend.

On June 10, Grande posed for photo posted on Instagram with her brother Frankie and their mother Joan.

Meanwhile, a third source told Us that the happy couple is "looking forward to a very long engagement together".

A second source confirmed that there are no immediate wedding plans by saying, "They are a ideal fit. They are not rushing to get married", one insider says.

They later made their relationship public on Instagram and have been using the social media platform as a vessel for their love and affection towards one another ever since, with Pete even showing off two new Ariana-inspired tattoos. "Their friends are really excited and supportive".

The pint-sized pop star and the SNL host started dating shortly after Grande's split from rapper Mac Miller in May and Davidson's split from longtime girlfriend Cazzie David in mid-May.
